Well picking up where we left off last time, Alexis and I were about to have our duel with Jaden, Chazz, Syrus, Bastion, and Zane in tow. I was thinking to myself, "Whuh oh, I got a lot of competition to handle. Then again, I know I can use my romantic charm and good looks.
Now back to the story.
"So Alexis, who's going to go first?"
Alexis: "Why don't you pick."
"Alright, I will, normally I'd let the lady go first, but when it comes to dueling, I'm not that nice. So I guess I'll go first."
Jaden: "Hey Trevor?"
"Yea? What's up Jaden?"
Jaden: "What're you gonna do after the duel?"
"Well Alexis agreed to show me around campus."
Jaden: "Really?"
Alexis: "Well sure, it's a nice day, why waste it inside?"
Bastion: "She has point Jaden."
Jaden: "*laughs* Yea she does. Anyway, to the arena!!"
"Sounds like a plan, your thoughts Alexis?"
Alexis: Mmhmm, let's do this."
So Alexis and I get to our respective sides of the arena, and then we both activate our duel disks.
Alexis & I: "DUEL!" Both of our life points are at 4000
My opening hand looks like this:
Armed Dragon LV3
Tyrant Dragon
Mask Of Darkness
Mago Oscuro (Spanish Dark Magician)
Armed Dragon LV5
Armed Dragon LV7
So, "I summon my Armed Dragon LV3 in attack mode. And I'll call it a turn, your move Alexis."
She draws her sixth card, and plays two face downs in her spell and trap card zone.
Alexis: "I summon Cyber Tutu, and since your dragon's attack is higher than my ballerina's, she can attack you directly."
I lose 1000, so now I'm at 3000 LP while Alexis is still at 4000.
"Grr, you're gonna regret that. My turn."
I draw, "Since it's my standby phase, I activate my Dragon's effect, I sacrifice him to special summon from my hand, Armed Dragon LV5. Now Armed Dragon, attack Cyber Tutu!"
Alexis: "Not so fast Trevor, I activate my "Hallowed Life Barrier" trap. You may have destroyed my Cyber Tutu, but I take no damage."
"Fair enough, alright, I end my turn, but since it's the end of my turn, I can sacrifice my Dragon to special summon from my hand, Armed Dragon LV7."
Alexis: "Oh man, I'm gonna have to do something. Alright, my turn, I draw. I play one monster in defense mode and end my turn."
"Alright, I draw. I summon Red-Eyes Black Chick, then I activate his effect and sacrifice him to special summon my Red-Eyes Black Dragon from my hand. Red Eyes, attack her face down with Molten Fireball!"
It turns out that she set her Blade Skater, which is now in the graveyard. "Now, Armed Dragon, attack her directly!"
Alexis: *groans* "Man, you are good Trevor." She is now down to 1200 and I am still at 3000.
"Thanks Alexis. I end my turn."
Alexis: "Alright my turn. I draw." *she grins*
"Hm, what're you grinning about?"
Alexis: "That's for me to know, and for you to find out. I lay one more face down and play a monster in defense mode. Your turn."
"*raises eyebrow* Hm, alright, I draw. I'm calling your bluff, Red-Eyes, attack her face down!"
Her Cyber Gymnast is destroyed, "Armed Dragon, attack her directly and end this duel!"
End result, I win, but I don't let it go to my head.
"Good game Alexis." *I extend my hand to her and we shake hands, my face inevitably turns brick red*
Alexis: "You're pretty strong." *giggles*
"What's so funny?"
Alexis: "You're all red in the face again. Say, how about that tour of the campus now? Maybe I'll give you my email or better yet my cell number. How's that sound?"
I can do nothing but stammer as I cannot make words for fear I'll stumble all over myself.
Jaden, Zane, Syrus, Chazz, and Bastion: "WHAT?!"
Syrus: "You only just met the guy, and you already like him?!"
Jaden: "Sy has a point, that's a bit fishy if you ask me."
Alexis: "Well, he seems nice, and I did agree to show him around. No harm in having an extra person to contact, right?"
Others: "True enough."
Alexis: "Well Trevor, shall we?"
"Alright."
