Not too bad

The audience in the background was a nice touch. Kind of reminds me of Eric Clapton's "Cocaine" live version. The drums and the main rhythm seemed just slightly off set. Perhaps you could try to get them in sync with each other?

Again, not too bad. 4/5 and 9/10. :)

Mans0n responds:

thanks for the review man! and yeah I also agree with the lead melody being off with the beat during the build, And i think it's the massive side chaining i used :/

Interesting

While techno is not really a favorite genre of mine, there are some songs to which I will make an exception. This being one of them. I really did like the fade out part at the end, that is really cool. Maybe you could put that and the part from 2:51-3:38 as a loop all its own.

And possibly add the part after the BANG to it as well. :)

Mans0n responds:

thanks for the review man! I will definitely break this up and probably submit each part as it's own song :/ lol

Not so much classical

As it is more fitting of a medieval genre, if you will. There's just something about this that screams:

"I'M MORE FITTING IN THE MEDIEVAL GENRE OF MUSIC!!!"

Excellent riff overall.

Darkmaster603 responds:

Well, Renaissance music is considered classical, although it's a sub-genre. Once the sub-genres of classical come out I'm going to re-organize all my songs genre's.

I'm glad you liked it though, and thanks for the review.

Not bad

Though, the lyrics were overshadowed by the rhythm. Overall, nice song, I would like to hear it as an instrumental as well. I like it, but not enough to download it, sorry. :P

But in all seriousness, this is an excellent piece of work. The way the lyrics sync with the rhythm is familiar but I can't quite place it. Once again, nicely done.

merlin responds:

You don't know what your ipod is missing out on! Thanks for the review. When I thought up the lyrics/melody to the song (while I was in the shower, actually) It seemed vaguely familiar to me, too. let me know if you put your finger on it via PM! Thanks so much for the review, and high score. Be sure to share it with a friend!

merlin

Rock on dude. I really do enjoy the bass and drum riffs in this song as well as the keyboard.

This really is just fucking epic!! As well as the rhythm riff, damn, it is just so awesome!

mentalissues responds:

Glad you like our song :)
Keep your eyes open because we are making a music video for this track!

Stellar

Guyperson said it, it really does remind me of F-Zero. Though right around when the solo is playing, it kind of reminds me of the Zoids game for Gamecube and Sonic as well. I tell ya, that guitar solo is just absolutely friggin' stellar!

BinbagMcGraw responds:

Haha, thank you. I'm glad the fake guitars aren't so bad they put people off, and I'm rather pleased with how it came out.

You know what's wierd?

The beginning of this song sounds an awful lot like "Do Your Ears Hang Low?" lmao. All in all, and excellent Thanksgiving song. Keep it up.

bossler13 responds:

haha, it does because they are almost the exact same song XD

thanks for the review dude!

*is in absolute awe*

*jaw drops* I bow to you. You are just an absolute goddess when it comes to re-creating video game songs an tunes. Man does this bring back fond memories. Sadly, I never did beat FFX. I had been training and training and training because I had the guide and I didn't have of the skills that would've helped me to destroy Sin(Jecht). But I applaud your voice and talent. Highly well done.

VGSongbird responds:

Thank you so much! That's such an encouraging review ^_^

Very well done

The synthesizer reminds me a lot of Eiffel 65 and Van Halen. Though if you hadn't put up the lyrics, no one would be able to understand it. All in all, this is quite nice, the bass isn't too heavy which is good because like most other synth/techno songs, the bass is just too damn heavy and overshadows the rest of the song.

I do like the organ and the cymbals in the background and the drum beat. Quite nice, and the lighter notes kind of remind me of something for background music in a video game for any level dealing with the ocean and whatnot. Very cool.

merlin responds:

Wow, you're definitely the first to voice your oppinion about the song's instrumental oceanistic feel. It's really hard to portray scenery in music, but I tried my best, and this is what I came up with. If no one lese hears it, but you, that's still enough for me!

I was thinking earlier today while listening to this in my car (where my loudest/best sound system is) that it needs more bass! However, I will definitely take this to heart, do some listening of other songs, and then decide what I'll do with the bass.

Thanks for taking time to listen, review, and vote! It means a lot to me. More to come soon, I promise.

Very somber

Makes me think of Feudal Japan. This is just awesome all the way. There really isn't much that can be said about how well done this is.

Very well done. It also makes me think of the festival in "Pokemon The Movie: 2000." At least I think that's the movie where Ash is still in the Orange Islands.

Jessismith responds:

Thank you, SLntCobra. That means a lot. :)
I suppose it does have an old fuedal japan sort of theme to it. Thanks.
Wow. I remember that movie. :) That was a beautiful tune as well.
